Vesikularni stomatitis

چکیده
Vezikularni stomatitis (VS) reemergentna je virusna zarazna bolest prije svega konja, goveda i svinja, ali ovaca, koza, ljama alpaka. Uzročnik bolesti virus vezikularnog stomatitisa, arbovirus iz porodice Rhabdoviridae, u koju su uključeni različiti virusi kralježnjaka, beskralježnjaka mnogih biljnih vrsta. Zbog nemogućnosti kliničkog razlikovanja od slinavke šapa, vezikularni svinja iziskuje posebnu pozornost, iznimno kontagiozne zarazne papkara. Kliničkom slikom konja dominira ptijalizam kao posljedica formiranja, a potom pucanja vezikula na dorzalnoj strani jezika, mekom nepcu, dentalnoj ploči mukokutanom spoju usana. Lezije se nalaze krunskom djelu kopita, papaka, sisama. erozija koje nastaju mjestu rupturiranih bolesna životinja odbija hranu, opiru mužnji. Za razliku kojih obilno slinjenje, prvi simptom sje šepanje izazivaju lezije papaka. Bolest unutar stada širi izravnim kontaktom, kontaminiranim predmetima, opremom površinama, veliku ulogu širenju virusa VS imaju insekti (komarci, pješčane muhe, mušice svrbljivice komarčići), mehanički i/ili biološki vektori. Prevencija stomatitisa temelji izolaciji zaraženih stada, ograničenom kretanju primljivih zaraženom području, kontroli insekata (vektora) uporabi cjepiva, dostupnih nekim endemskim regijama Srednje Južne Amerike. Povremena pojava infekcije ljudi predstavlja određeno javno-zdravstveni problem. U blaga slična gripi te smatra manje opasnom zoonozom.
